HBO Promotes Bloys; Taps Diaz

HBO has made a pair of executive moves, promoting Casey Bloys to senior vp, HBO Entertainment comedy series and tapping ABC Television’s Jocelyn Diaz to serve as vp, HBO Entertainment drama series.

Bloys previously served as vp, HBO Entertainment, where he oversaw development and production of a number of original comedy series, including Flight of the Conchords and Eastbound & Down. He joined the network in 2004 as director of development, HBO Independent Productions.

Most recently, Bloys has steered development of the half-hour strip Hung and the upcoming Jason Schwartzman/Ted Danson/Zach Galifianakis comedy Bored to Death.
