Gannett Announces Executive Stations Appointments

Gannett Broadcasting Friday (Nov. 21) announced three executive appointments in its TV station group.

Ken Tonning was named president and general manager of WTSP-TV, the company’s CBS affiliate serving the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla. market, from president and general manager of WTLV-TV ad WJXX-TV, the company’s NBC and ABC affiliates in Jacksonville, Fla. He’ll be succeeded in Jacksonville by Dodie Cantrell-Bickley, who moves from Macon, Ga. where she served as president and general manager of WMAZ-TV, the CBS affiliate.
