Fox's Lone Star First Casualty of New Season

Just two episodes into its run, Fox has removed low-rated drama Lone Star from the Monday 9 p.m. hour, with former occupant Lie to Me scheduled to return on Oct. 4. 

Lone Star opened with just 4.10 million viewers and a 1.3 rating/3 share among adults 18-49 (out of 10.69 million viewers and a 4.2/11 in the demo for lead-in House) on Sept. 20, according to Nielsen Media Research. The second and final episode dipped to 3.23
