Hoping to revive the variety show format, Fox has signed heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne and family to star in six episodes of the tentatively titled The Osbournes: Loud and Dangerous.

Produced by FremantleMedia N.A., the series will mix music, comedy and game show competitions, while featuring the special talents of the entire Osbourne clan, including wife Sharon (a contest show judge on another Fremantle production, America’s Got Talent), and kids Jack and Kelly.

Loud and Dangerous will film in Los Angeles, and reportedly could kick of with a Christmas special.
