Go to the website, click on Ratings Box (the first category), then Last Night’s Results, and Monday, March 15, 2010. ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: With 83 percent of CBS’ schedule in repeats, Fox led this third Monday in the overnights care of its combination of House (#1: 7.9 rating/13 share) and 24 (#2: 6.5/10). Although rumors are circulating that eight year-old 24 is ending this spring, Fox has not officially confirmed anything yet. CBS opened the evening with a repeat of How I Met Your Mother (#3: 4.4/ 7 at 8 p.m.), followed by an original installment of Rules of Engagement (#3: 5.5/ 8), and repeats of Two and a Half Men (#1: 8.7/13), The Big Bang Theory (#1: 7.9/12) and CSI: Miami (#1: 6.0/10) from 9-11 p.m. It is not that often that I say anything about Rules of Engagement, but growth of 25 percent out of the How I Met Your Mother encore is worth noting. Over at ABC, a two-hour special edition of 20/20: Inside The Bachelor – The Stories Behind the Rose got some mileage with a 6.0/ 9 in the overnights from 8-10 p.m. Here is the half-hour breakdown! Inside The Bachelor – The Stories Behind the Rose (ABC)8:00 p.m.: 5.9/ 9 (#2)8:30 p.m.: 5.7/ 9 (#2)9:00 p.m.: 6.0/ 9 (#3)9:30 p.m.: 6.4/10 (#3) While I cannot blame ABC for trying to milk the current hot Bachelor franchise, 20/20 is supposed to be a newsmagazine and this is not news. For more on that, click here for this week’s Mr. Television Column (Current Reality): ABC closed the night with a repeat of Castle at a third-place 4.8/ 8 at 10 p.m. NBC remained out of the competitive Monday loop with its line-up of Chuck (#4: 4.2/ 6), waiting-to-be canceled again Trauma (#4: 3.4/ 5) and granddaddy Law & Order (#2: 5.3/ 9), which built out of the 9:30 p.m. portion of Trauma (3.4/ 5) by 56 percent. Unfortunately, there was no reason to believe Chuck would break out of its small cult following in season three. Last, and very least in the overnights, was CW duo Life Unexpected (1.6/ 3) and already renewed Gossip Girl (1.5/ 2), which never resonate in the overnights. Their target audience is, of course, young females. High Society will move to 9:30 p.m., while still relatively potent America’s Next Top Model continues to anchor Wednesday. -Facing Kate on USA:USA Network has picked up a new drama called Facing Kate, which centers on a top litigator (Sarah Shahi) who switches career directions and becomes a mediator. It also features Michael Trucco, Virginia Williams and Baron Vaughn and will debut with a 90-minute episode later in the year, followed by 11 initial one-hour episodes. -More Into the Wild:Litton Entertainment has renewed weekly Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild for fall 2010, with new stations including WABC in New York and WBS in Atlanta, and time period upgrades on affiliates in Houston, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Miami, Jacksonville, Abilene and San Angelo, TX. Major groups committed to the series include the ABC and Fox owned and operated stations, Cox, Meredith, Scripps, Sinclair, Tribune and Weigel. -Being Erica Marathon on SOAPnet:SOAPnet, the home of must see serialized dramas, will whet viewer appetites for the sophomore season-finale of Being Erica on Wednesday, April 7 at 10 p.m. with a four-hour (8 p.m. – 12 a.m. marathon) on Sunday, April 4. -Mike Tyson on Animal Planet:Boxing legend Mike Tyson will headline an upcoming show on Animal Planet called Taking On Tyson, which will focus on the odd and competitive world of pigeon racing. Debuting in early 2011, novice pigeon racer Tyson will compete against several individuals in hopes of being crowned a champ all over again. -Bio Remembers Peter Graves:Bio Channel will honor the memory of late Mission: Impossible star Peter Graves with the hour-long Bio Remembers: Peter Graves, which airs today at 2 p.m. ET. -Lady Gaga on Glee:Red-hot recording artist Lady Gaga will appear in an upcoming episode of Fox’s critically acclaimed Glee, which returns in original episodes on Wednesday, April 13 out of American Idol at 9 p.m. ET. The airdate is yet to be confirmed. -The 8th Annual TV Land Awards:Honorees at the coming eighth annual extravaganza, which airs on Sunday, April 25 at 9 p.m., include the casts of Everybody Loves Raymond and Glee; legendary comedians Mel Brooks and Carol Reiner; and the late, and great, Farrah Fawcett.
