Bill Morningstar is leaving his post as head of advertising sales for the CW Network to oversee ad sales at the Major League Baseball Network, which will launch this January, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Morningstar has been executive vp of ad sales at the CW since the network was founded two years ago in a merger between the WB and UPN networks. Prior to that, Morningstar was head of ad sales for the WB.
