Kyle McSlarrow, the outgoing chief lobbyist for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, is headed for Comcast/NBC Universal, where he will be the newly merged media company’s point person in the nation’s capital as president, Washington, D.C., a new position.

McSlarrow, who knows his way around Washington from his six years representing the cable industry, will now have responsibilities for Comcast’s business operations in the area, and will serve as the company’s public policy advocate, balancing the interests of cable, broadcast, movie studios, and theme parks.
