Clear Channel Radio is bringing its popular "Stripped" on-demand music series to its iheartradio online and mobile channel.
Since "Stripped" launched in 2005, more than 125 artists have performed exclusive renditions of their hit songs and covers, as well as recorded hundreds of hours of interviews.
Clear Channel has programmed all that material into a 24/7 streaming station on iheartradio, which has an online audience of 22 million unique monthly visitors and more than three million downloads of the mobile app on both the iPhone and Blackberry.
Additionally, the company scored Visa as its lead sponsor. The credit card company is sponsoring both the "Stripped" player and a full takeover of mobile application.
