CBS Sports executives Ken Aagaard, Mike Aresco, Harold Bryant, Rob Correa and Marty Kaye have been promoted.
Aagaard becomes executive vp, operations, engineering and production services after having been senior vp, operations and production services since 1998. He will continue in his expanded role overseeing these areas not only in CBS Sports, but also at CBS College Sports Network, and will expand his role in developing new technology and production enhancements.
Aresco becomes executive vp, programming, after having been sr. vp, programming, since 2000. Aresco continues to be responsible for all college programming at both CBS Sports and CBS College Sports Network. He also continues to help shape the strategy for growing CBS College Sports Network.
Bryant becomes vp. production, assuming the production responsibilities handled by former executive vp and executive producer, Tony Petitti, who left recently to become CEO of the Major League Baseball Network. He will oversee all creative aspects of production and editorial content for all sports programming at both CBS Sports and CBS College Sports Network.
Correa becomes executive vp, programming after having been senior vp since 2000. He continues to be responsible for all non-college related programming for CBS Sports, including the NFL, golf, tennis, auto racing, winter sports and anthology programs, and will work on new revenue opportunities for CBS Sports.
Kaye becomes senior vp, finance, after having been vp, finance since 1999. He continues in his role of overseeing all of the financial aspects of both CBS Sports and CBS College Sports Network, and will continue to work on the long-term financial strategy for both areas.
