Carson Daly, host of NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly, is returning to Los Angeles radio.
Beginning Jan. 4, he will fill the vacant morning spot on CBS Radio’s newest station, KAMP-FM AMP Radio.
Launched last February, CBS Radio’s Top 40 AMP brand quickly climbed to No. 4 in the ratings, per Arbitron’s portable people meter ratings for November. Among the target 18-34, the station is No. 3.
Daly is no stranger to radio. Prior to moving to late night TV for Last Call, he hosted MTV’s Total Request Live and hosted nights on CBS Radio’s KROQ-FM.
