CBS Radio 'Freshens' Up D.C. Format

CBS Radio is freshening up its radio portfolio in Washington, D.C. to target more women. On Monday (April 6), the radio group will say goodbye to its Adult Album Alternative format on WTGB-FM (The Globe) at 94.7 and launch “FRESH FM,” taking on Clear Channel’s Adult Contemporary WASH-FM, the top music station in the market and the No. 2 station in the market overall.

If the name of the station sounds familiar, it’s because CBS has other “FRESH”-branded stations in New York and Chicago.
