CBS Latest Network to Stream Shows on Netflix

CBS has signed a deal with Netflix to allow certain TV shows in its extensive library to be streamed as part Netflix’s new subscription streaming plan. The deal goes into effect in April.

CBS is the last of the four major networks to sign such an agreement. Fox, ABC and NBC signed similar deals last year. Dozens of cable networks have also signed on.

In November, Netflix began a streaming-only service, which costs $7.99 per month.

Programs that CBS is licensing under the new two-year deal with Netflix include Medium, Flashpoint and classics such as Frasier.
