Cablevision’s Advanced Platforms division has landed another client, creating a new interactive video-on-demand channel for MXenergy, an independent supplier of natural gas and electricity.
 
Now available to Cablevision’s 2.92 million digital-video subs, MXenergyTV offers consumers money-saving tips about energy conservation in a digestible infotainment format. The multipart series Attainable Sustainables touches on topics ranging from recycling and garbage disposal to the rise of the “found art” movement, i.e., sculpture constructed from cast-off and scrap material.
