Azteca Adds Hi-Def Studio at HQ

Azteca America has opened a new high-definition news studio at its parent headquarters in Mexico City and forged closer ties with news agency Fuerza Informativa Azteca, the Latin America news agency.

Under the new agreement, Azteca will have access to a Hispanic new network with 32 news bureaus and 108 reporters across Latin America and the world.

The Azteca national news broadcasts in the U.S. will continue at 5:30 and 11 p.m. E.T., and local news broadcasts in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Las Vegas will also continue at their regular times.
