Arrested Development Creator Brings Pilot to CBS

Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz is taking his next family comedy to CBS. The network has given a put pilot commitment to the untitled project, about a grown-up family that is too close-knit for their own good.
 
Produced by Sony Pictures TV, in association with CBS Paramount Network TV, the comedy is set to star American Pie’s Jason Biggs. Hurwitz will write the pilot script with Arrested alum James Vallely. Hurwitz, Vallely and Biggs willl executive produce the project, along with Tantamount’s Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.
