Tim Minear, the writer/producer who co-created Fox’s 2007 auto race drama Drive, has renewed his contract at 20th Century Fox TV, signing a new two-year deal at the studio.
Minear most recently has been working as a consulting producer on Joss Whedon’s midseason Fox drama, Dollhouse. Minear and Whedon have worked together before, both on Firefly and Angel.
Earlier this week, longtime 20th writer David E. Kelley, left the studio for a three-year deal at Warner Bros.
