YouTube Launches Web Journalism Training Hub

YouTube, the popular online video site, opened an online journalism training hub on Monday, featuring tips from Bob Woodward, Katie Couric and Arianna Huffington.

The Youtube Reporters’ Center features short video tutorials on a variety of journalistic subjects. Woodward, who made his name investigating Richard Nixon’s White House during the Watergate scandal, presents a five-minute video on investigative reporting.

CBS Evening News anchor Couric offers tips on how to conduct an interview, while Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post blog, focuses on “citizen journalism.”

Other tutorials include how to report from a conflict zone “without getting shot,” presented by Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times; “How to Capture Breaking News on Your Cell Phone” and “How to Build Your Audience on YouTube.”
