Yahoo is looking to take football fans on the road to sample some of the best tailgating scenes in the country—and putting a few fans in harm’s way.

On Sept. 28 Yahoo Sports will launch Behind Enemy Lines, which each week will feature a pair of fans visiting either a college or NFL game—wearing the other team’s colors. For example, the show will track a Philadelphia Eagles fans riding the New York City subway en route to a Giants game.

Another episode will send a University of Oklahoma fan visiting a University of Texas fan-dominated bar as those two schools hook up on Oct. 2.

Yahoo is planning to roll out 12 episodes of Behind Enemy Lines. The original series, which is being sponsored by Bud Light, is the latest in a string of brand-underwritten shows produced by the Web giant. Other Yahoo originals include the general interest news series Who Knew?, which is sponsored by Toyota Avalon, and Yahoo Sports Minute, which is sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts.
