WSJ Launches 'Big Interview' Web Series

The Wall Street Journal today has launched a new weekly online Web series, The Big Interview, which will feature one-on-one interviews with big names from the world of finance and government.

The show will be posted online each Friday at 10:00 a.m., starting with this week’s sit-down with FDIC chairwoman Sheila Bair, which will be followed by next week’s interview with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel on July 2. Various Journal staffers will conduct the interviews from the newspapers’ offices in New York and Washington, D.C. as well as occasionally on location.

The Big Interview is the latest addition to a growing roster of original video series produced by the Journal. Over the past few months the company has rolled out the daily news-of-the-day series The News Hub, the tech-focused Digits and Opinion Journal Live. Unlike those series,  The Big Interview will not be streamed live but will instead be available to viewers on-demand.
