'WSJ' Floats Fins.com

NEW YORK The Wall Street Journal has launched Fins.com, a job search site targeted at financial professionals.

The new Web property carries the tagline “Propel your career” (the site’s name is meant as a type of shorthand for “finance”). It blends a mix of job listings, recruitment ads and career-search related editorial — all filtered through the lens of the Wall Street/financial world.

On the editorial front, Fins.com features several regular columns, including the blog-esque Bull/Bear Report, which tracks industry job openings, as well as the daily Morning Coffee, which summarizes the news from the financial world and its likely impact on the hiring market.
