A Social Game for Parrotheads

Attention Parrotheads: Come this fall, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in "Margaritaville Online," a social game currently in the works from THQ. The Blog Herald reports that the game, based on Jimmy Buffett’s song of the same name, will be released on Facebook and iOS devices, according to THQ, and will offer "an immersive 3-D paradise, filled with frozen concoctions, music, and adventure."

Although Margaritaville Online clearly aspires to jump on the popular bandwagon that is Zynga’s hit FarmVille and CityVille games, THQ won't have to worry about infringing on any "-ville" copyrights. The name Margaritaville has already been copyrighted for years. Now . . . where did we put that lost shaker of salt?
