Netflix to Stream Newer ABC Family, Disney Shows
Netflix is starting to become a place where people can watch more of this season’s TV.
The company has inked a pact with Disney that will enable subscribers to stream shows from ABC, Disney Channel and ABC Family. While ABC is only planning to distribute episodes of shows from past seasons, ABC Family will deliver streams of shows during their current season—15 days after they air.
The ABC Family arrangement marks the latest such move by Netflix to offer more current programming.
