For its new season, The National Basketball Association is bringing hundreds of live games to smartphones.

The league on Thursday (Oct. 29) announced the launch of mobile version of its NBA League Pass product—which enables fans to view live out-of-market games on TV or on the Web. The new NBA League Pass Mobile is available on both Google’s fast-growing Android mobile platform and Apple’s App Store for $39.99. Besides access to 40-plus live games per week, NBA fans will be able to replay full league games on their cell phones for up to 48 hours.
