Major League Gaming, EA Team for Tourneys
Major League Gaming, a burgeoning league of professional video gamers, has partnered with Electronic Arts to host a series of tournaments featuring three of the gaming publishers’ top sports titles: Madden NFL 10, NBA Live 10 and the boxing game Fight Night Round 4.
The first event of the new 2009 EA Sports Challenge Series is scheduled for August 28-30 in Dallas, Texas—at the same site as MLG’s previously scheduled Pro Circuit event. Future EA Sports Challenge events this year with correspond with the MLG schedule, along with several special events–such a Madden tournament planned for the weekend of next year’s Superbowl.
