Jason Hirschhorn Exits Co-President Post at MySpace

The revolving door at MySpace keeps spinning.

Jason Hirschhorn, MySpace’s co-president since February, is leaving the company to return to New York. His co-president Mike Jones is expected to lead the beleaguered social networking site for the foreseeable future.

Hirschhorn joined MySpace in April of last year following the company’s ouster of CEO and co-founder Chris DeWolfe. At that time Hirschhorn was brought on to assist the new CEO Owen Van Natta in shifting the floundering site’s focus toward becoming an entertainment-centric social hub.

But by February of this year, Hirschhorn was thrust into the role of co-president following Van Natta’s sudden ouster.
