The online privacy issue is not going away any time soon. When asked by Adweek/Harris Interactive "How strongly do you agree/disagree that online companies like Facebook and Google control too much of our personal information and know too much about our browsing habits?" more than three-quarters said they agreed.
Age and income and gender brought forth stronger opinions. Close to 80 percent of those 55 and over agreed that companies like Google and Facebook know too much and control too much of what we see.
Similarly, 79 percent of female respondents agreed, as did 80 percent of those with an annual income of $75,000 and above.
