Critical Releases Video-to-Web Platform
Newspapers can increase revenue potential by adding video to their Web sites and distributing it to partner sites or portals such as YouTube in one click, according to New York-based Critical Media Inc., which today announced Syndicaster for Newspapers.
The broadcast-to-online platform used by television stations across the country allows editors using any browser to quickly capture, process and remotely create video clips to generate searchable video content.
Clients can capture video on virtually any hand-held camera, log into Syndicaster’s Web site from anywhere, and upload the footage, edit it and immediately publish the video to Web sites.
Newspaper chains can put all video assets from all their papers on one normalized video uploading, editing and publishing platform.
