CraveOnline Presents 'Couch' Series

The guy-oriented entertainment site CraveOnline.com has launched an original branded entertainment series called Couch Cravings, which depicts a 20-something man who’s life is bettered by watching on-demand cable TV.

The new five-part series is being sponsored by the video-on-demand service Movies on Demand. The main character, Sheldon is seen solving all of his problems through VOD.

The off-the-wall Webisodes have been created with CraveOnline’s entertainment-enthusiast, sophomoric male core audience in mind (the site features a mix of content on movies, comic books, sports and pretty girls). Through the course of the show, Sheldon eventually ends up with a high-tech apartment and the girl of his dreams—all because of Movies on Demand.

“CraveOnline is actively producing and delivering original online Webisodes in order to satiate the appetites of our audience for new and entertaining videos,” said David Cohn, Crave’s svp of sales. “For [this show], we created witty and amusing Webisodes that also provide a information about Transactional Movie on Demand while showing the brand as a solution to everyday problems.”
