CollegeHumor CEO Paul Greenberg is stepping down from his post at the company, he confirmed to Adweek on Friday. AllThingsD first reported on the news of Greenberg's departure.
"It's been three great years and it's just time for a new challenge for me," Greenberg explained. "I'm really, really proud of what we've been able to accomplish."
Greenberg's last day is a week from today. As far as what's next, the impending free agent said: "That's a good question." Greenberg is considering "a number of different opportunities," but he said it's likely he would stay in New York.
As AllThingsD reported, and Greenberg confirmed, Drew Buckley and Shane Rahmani of Electus—which, like CollegeHumor, is owned by IAC—will step up to run the company.
"CollegeHumor is an incredible company. I've been really lucky to work there. They're going to continue to kill it in my absence," Greenberg said.
