CBS Strikes On-Demand Pact With MobiTV
CBS has begun delivering on demand, full-length episodes of several of its most popular prime-time shows to MobiTV subscribers.
Ten-year old MobiTV has been a pioneer in the mobile video space, offering live TV—from networks such as ABC, Discovery and ESPN–to five million paying subscribers worldwide.
Now, besides catching the CBS staples CSI, Numb3rs and CSI: NY and CSI: NY as they air, MobiTV subscribers can stream complete episodes of these shows on their phones whenever they want starting a day after these shows are first televised.
In addition to the primetime fair, MobiTV is offering full daily episodes of the CBS soap The Young and the Restless, along with CBS-produced news, sports and comedy clips.
