CBS News will stream a special live Webcast covering President Obama’s first 100 days in office just after the conclusion of the president’s news conference on Wednesday (Apr. 29) at 8:00 p.m. EST.

The live Webcast will be hosted by CBS News anchor Katie Couric and will feature several prominent political journalists as guest, including The Huffington Post's Arianna Huffington, The Atlantic's political editor Marc Ambinder and Politico chief political correspondent Mike Allen. In addition, CBS News staffers Jeff Greenfield (senior political Correspondent) and Chip Reid (White House correspondent) will also appear during the show.

Live Webcasts such this one have become standard procedure for Couric and CBS News as major political events occur. Starting last year Couric hosted similar events following CBS’ broadcasts of both party’s conventions, the presidential debates, election night and Obama’s inauguration.

As with the previous events, Wednesday’s 100 Days Webcast will incorporate questions from viewers. However, in this case Couric and her team will also showcase 20-second videos produced by users which were submitted via Couric’s own Facebook page.
