Brian Wilson Pacts with Gannett for Web Release
Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson is debuting his new album, “That Lucky Old Sun,” exclusively on Gannett’s Web sites. Through Sept. 1 more than 50 of Gannett’s newspaper and TV properties will feature streaming audio of Wilson’s latest offering. Capitol Records/EMI will release “That Lucky Old Sun” on Sept. 2.
The 32 newspaper Web sites, 19 TV Web sites, and USAToday.com were chosen because of the size of the market and the concentration of Brian Wilson fans.
