It's Break the Internet Day Two, and brands and Twitter users are still having fun with Kim Kardashian's nude cover photo for Paper magazine. In fact, the magazine, which featured the reality starlet in its winter issue, went beyond just showing Kardashian's famous backside on the cover. She's fully frontally nude in the magazine, putting a little extra strain on the Internet.
The trend continued to rise on Twitter today and responses kept rolling in with more reactions from brands looking to jump into the conversation, including Budweiser, JetBlue (copying a similar tweet by Southwest Airlines), and even the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The museum tweeted a picture of a fertility goddess statue, similarly proportioned to Kardashian.
Yesterday, Nissan was the brand winner, however, commanding the most retweets for a photo of its own trunk. Social tracking firm Spredfast said Nissan topped a No. 2 branded tweet from TBS, showing the American Dad cartoon character mimicking Kardashian's pose, only with a twist.
Here's a look at some of the latest #BreakTheInternet brand tweets from today, and some more good ones from Wednesday, when the trend started:
