Bing's Buzz a Boon for Microsoft

NEW YORK Microsoft has picked up a few share points in the search race since last week’s release of Bing, according to a new report issued by comScore.

Bing, the much-hyped reboot of Microsoft’s long-struggling search product, went live on June 3. The product’s launch was soon followed by a promotional TV campaign. And at least so far, all of the attention surrounding Bing has paid off in the form of more users for Microsoft.
