Who is on Kevin Systrom’s Instagram wishlist? Al Gore. Systrom says he’s personally lobbied the former veep to join the photo-sharing service.
“I need to ask him again,” Systrom said following a New York event in which Instagram unveiled a new direct photo-messaging service.
Gore has been sighted in a number of social media circles, and one time even asked to buy Twitter. Systrom named the vice president as the one celebrity he would most like to see join Instagram after he was asked the question during a conversation with reporters.
Gore would seem like a conservative choice for Instagram, a platform that is embraced by more risqué celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna.
