AP to Host Web Series for Olympics
The Associated Press is directly targeting consumers with a new original Web series during the Winter Olympics.
Starting on Feb. 12 when the Winter Games kick off in Vancouver, Canada, the news service will unveil a daily Webcast titled “Beyond the Medal,” which will feature highlights from the Olympics. That Web series, which will run through the conclusion of the games on Feb. 28, will be hosted by Jesse Csincsak formerly of The Bachelorette.
The show will be distributed to over 900 partners, according to officials, along with AP-produced news stories, event results, video reports, photos and athlete profiles.
