Time Inc.'s Health.com Finds 'Right' Partner

Seeking to grow its reach with advertisers, Time Inc.’s Health.com has partnered with the much-larger RightHealth.com.
 
Health.com launched a year ago as an offshoot of Health magazine and emphasizes holistic lifestyle content; while RightHealth.com, operated by Kosmix, offers health news and information by topic. As of September, Health.com had 1.6 million monthly unique visitors to RightHealth.com’s 5.5 million, per Compete.com.
 
But together, the parties—which will go to market together in 2010 as Health.com Integrated Solutions—will reach a combined 7 million-plus monthly uniques, according to Time Inc.
 
As part of the partnership, Health.com’s content will be integrated into RightHealth.com’s content pages, and both entities plan to develop new products to target advertisers and people looking for health information.
 
“This partnership combines Health.com’s strength in content, branding and client relationships, with RightHealth’s depth, audience scale and unique ability to reach health consumers at the moments when they are most engaged,” said John L. Brown, president of the Health franchise, in a statement announcing the partnership.
