Rodale Shifts Gears, Names Peter Flax EIC of Bicycling

Rodale has made another top editor change, this time at Bicycling. Peter Flax was named editor in chief there as well as editorial director at Mountain Bike. Flax had been the executive editor at Runner’s World. He replaces Loren Mooney, who is leaving the company after less than two years in the position.
 
The company said that Mooney was leaving “to pursue other opportunities.” There were no obvious signs of problems under Mooney; the magazine grew subscriptions 9.3
