Rebekah Brooks Severs Ties With News Corp.
And many at her alma mater want to sever ties with her
After formally resigning from yet another four directorships—bringing the grand total to 23—Rebekah Brooks appears to have finally severed all ties with News Corp., says the Guardian’s Roy Greenslade.
Brooks is still listed as a director of the PA Group, which oversees the Press Association, but a spokeswoman for the group says that Brooks’ official resignation form was processed yesterday and sent to the U.K. Companies House. Tom Mockridge, her successor at News International, has been nominated to replace her.
