Rebekah Brooks Resigns From 18 News Corp. Directorships
Remains a director at five more companies
There’s been a lot of buzz lately around Rebekah Brooks’ role at News International after it was discovered that she was still listed as a director of the company, and the Guardian’s Roy Greenslade suggested that she might even still be on the company’s payroll.
Yesterday, Greenslade said, he received a notification from a News International spokeswoman saying that Brooks was in the process of resigning from “several” directorships—including from the company’s main board.
“Several,” it turns out, meant at least 18.
