Every Day With Rachael Ray lost its publisher—and the CEO of its parent company—recently. But now it's found a replacement. Paul Jowdy, currently the publisher of Details, is jumping to EDWRR.
Jowdy had only been in his position at Details for a few months; Condé Nast moved him there from Bon Appétit in January.
Jowdy has a tall order at EDWRR. The magazine, owned by Reader’s Digest Association, has lost readers and advertisers to Hearst Magazines’ 2-year-old Food Network Magazine, and it faces a revitalized Bon Appetit. EDWRR recently brought on Liz Vaccariello as editor in chief to revamp the magazine and strengthen its ties with Ray’s TV program.
