Premier Retail, AP Ink Content Deal
Premier Retail Networks, a company that operates a digital network in more than 6,500 retail stores and supermarkets, has inked a content agreement with Associated Press. Through the agreement, announced Monday (June 2), the AP will provide news content on PRN’s CheckoutTV network, a network of 19,000 screens located at the check-out line. The content will be displayed as a scrolling ticker along the bottom of PRN’s multi-paneled eye-level screen.
AP joins a number of PRN content partners including NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, Discovery HD, Food Network, as well as other media properties and major studios.
