New York Media's 'Design Hunting' Doubles Frequency for 2013

Strong launch for shelter title

More good news in the world of high-end shelter titles: New York magazine’s first standalone issue of Design Hunting, which created a ton of buzz in the design industry when it was released in May, has proved a commercial success for its publisher as well. Parent company New York Media announced today that Design Hunting would double its frequency in 2013, releasing issues in March and September.

The first half of 2012 has been especially strong for once-imperiled design titles, which have been attracting a steady stream of luxury ads as the interior design and housing markets begin to improve.
