National Magazine Awards Noms Announced
The American Society of Magazine Editors announced the nominations for its annual National Magazine Awards, and as usual, it helped to have New York in one’s name.
The New Yorker and New York once again were the big favorites for the coveted awards, with 10 nominations apiece, including one each for General Excellence.
National Geographic was close behind, with seven nominations. Others receiving multiple nominations were Esquire, GQ and Wired, each getting six.
As usual, a number of titles were nominated for the first time.
