Nat Geo Creates New Ad Sales Group

With its magazines experiencing steep year-over-year ad page declines, National Geographic has created a new ad sales group that it hopes will help the title sell more integrated ad packages across its print, broadcast, online, games and other platforms.
 
Steve Giannetti, senior vp, group publisher of National Geographic magazines, will lead the Global Media Integrated Sales and Sponsorship Group. The group will focus on growing business in three areas: travel, entertainment and marketing programs that are aligned with Nat Geo’s environmental mission.
