Des Moines-based Meredith Corp. has found its replacement for former More publisher Sabine Feldmann, who left the company last month to join newly installed publisher Connie Anne Phillips at Glamour. Today, Meredith announced that Alison Adler Matz, currently an svp, strategic brand sales at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, will take the reins at More beginning Aug. 25.

Matz, who also served as publisher of MSLO’s Everyday Food and Whole Living, has plenty of women’s magazine bona fides. She has worked at Brides, Glamour, Teen Vogue and Fairchild Fashion Group where she oversaw sales for WWD Beauty Inc. “Alison brings to More an incredible wealth of experience and leadership highlighted by her strong beauty and multiplatform background,” Meredith’s Women’s Lifestyle Group evp Tom Witschi said in a statement.

Meredith also announced that Steven Grune had been named publisher of the new Allrecipes magazine, which debuts in mid-November. Grune had previously been vp, group publisher at Bonnier, and prior to that, vp, publisher of Hearst’s Country Living and publisher of Meredith’s Midwest Living. Grune will report to Meredith vp, group publisher Christine Guilfoyle, who was tapped last month to oversee ad sales at Allrecipes on top of her current titles Every Day With Rachael Ray and EatingWell.
