Meredith Buys Big, Cuts 60
Meredith Corp. announced the acquisition of a health-care marketing firm while reporting that it would cut 60 jobs following weakening results in its publishing operations.
Meredith bought Big Communications, which it hopes will give it a bigger share of pharmaceuticals industry marketing dollars.
