Kent Brownridge, the ex-Wenner Media executive who emerged from retirement last year to lead the private-equity takeover of Maxim and Blender magazines, is out after a year as the CEO of their parent company, Alpha Media Group.

Succeeding him are Stephen Duggan and Glenn Rosenbloom, who were chief financial and operating officer and president of Alpha, respectively, and who were named co-CEOs. Brownridge will stay on as chairman.

Alpha formed when Quadrangle Capital Partners bought Maxim, Blender and Stuff from Dennis Publishing in June 2007 for $240 million-plus. (Stuff
