Janice Min Named Editorial Director of The Hollywood Reporter

Celebrity newsweekly vet Janice Min was named editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter in the latest top-level hire at the 80-year-old trade magazine following its recent acquisition by e5 Global Media.
 
e5 is a private-equity backed firm that was formed with the purchase from the Nielsen Co. of THR and seven other brands including AdweekMedia, to which Mediaweek belongs.
 
Min served as editor in chief of Wenner Media’s Us Weekly from 2003 to 2009, where she oversaw a sharp rise in circulation and won multiple industry awards, including Adweek’s Editor of the Year.
