Hugo Lindgren Reportedly Out as Editor of The New York Times Magazine

Lindgren has held the post for 3 years

Hugo Lindgren, editor of The New York Times Magazine, may be exiting the magazine at the end of this year. According to a report from Capital New York, rumors of Lindgren’s departure first leaked yesterday afternoon, following several months of similar speculation from the magazine’s insiders.

Lindgren first assumed the helm of the Times’ Sunday magazine three years ago, replacing then-editor Gerry Marzorati. Prior to joining the magazine, Lindgren spent less than a year as the executive editor of Bloomberg Businessweek, and before that, was an editorial director at New York magazine.
